Joseph Weeping

Very blessed to talk with a friend and see the number of times in the story of Joseph and his brothers that Joseph was overcome with emotion and had to go away privately to cry.

Until (still my favorite word) his brethren demonstrated a deep care for the heart of the Father and His love for His beloved son.

Thanks to Mark Klafter and others I have seen the beauty of the story of Joseph and how it lines up with Jesus but this going away privately to cry, to weep, to intercede is the very heart of God, and His love and grace are drawing us to into His heart for His people.

Gentile pride dies hard, but let it die on the cross of the Messiah, who will complete the work He started because He is faithful and true.
