Love of the truth preparation for the last days

"The bringing forth of the “son of perdition”, “who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God”, is readily staged “after the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders, with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish – because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved”. The final assault on the eternal covenant of the Lord consists in a ridiculing of guilelessness and sensibility, and in a direct attack on the faithfulness of God and veracity of His word. The answer to the senseless aggression and onslaught lies with the people “created for His praise” in the demonstrating of a love for the truth and which, at the same time, is ready to give up its right to life. It is said of the Church of the last days: “They loved not their lives to the death”. Martyrdom is more than dying prematurely; it is marked by sacrificial living. The “lying wonders” of the last days attract those who define salvation in terms of pain relief and easy living. God seeks men who dare to live sacrificially – thereby speaking radically against the mystery of iniquity. 2 Thess 2:3, 2 Thess 2:9-10, Isa 43:21, Rev 12:11"       Lars Widerberg

Ezekiel 38 Intercessory Prayer

“The LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.” “It shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage in which thou wast made to serve.” “Ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.” In the many statements similar to these, spread out through the whole Bible, we find the covenant reality expressed and its future fulfillment guaranteed. To run through the list of the “I will” and “I shall” in Ezekiel 38 will fill our prayer gatherings for the rest of our days with covenant related intercession. The prayer answers promised in the long list ends with a statement immersed in heavenly beauty: “I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them.” Ezekiel would have called this kind of ministry in prayer according to the covenant “Dry Bone Ministry” – a ministry to be engaged in during those future days when the forces of evil are trying to eradicate any trace of the eternal covenant. The high calling

"A mission, a task worthy of true discipleship, is to engage in an eschatological thinking, in a searching for a language covering the many aspects of the final days and in a living in fellowship that corresponds to the eschatological approach which has learned to take sides with Zion in the final part of the controversy. A mission worthy of the true disciple in the last days is to engage in an active participation in the preparing of a body of intercessors and servants who know how to do exploits in the realm of mercy. Such an approach would by its very existence eliminate much of the self-indulgence established as the new and very modern order of faith in our gatherings."  Lars Widerberg

Intercessor

"The intercessor becomes wise by praying."  Lars Widerberg

Revelation is how we truly learn, and that comes from time in the secret place.  God help us to truly learn, to have a love of the truth, and to teach from a place of resurrection life.

another reason for post-trib

Our ultimate call individually and corporately is the same.

To be brought into a place of bearing the image and likeness of Jesus Christ.

Do you think for one second that the path to that place will not be a path of suffering?  Do you for one second think that iron sharpening iron within the body will not involve offense and fear and trembling?  Do you think for one second that the humility, the sacrificial giving, the righteousness unto the death, the joy of serving others, will come to you without suffering, without a death to the flesh through a Word that is sharper than a two-edged sword.  This word dividing between soul and spirit will reveal false motivations, and drive you to confess your faults one to another.

Arise by falling on your face.

Be grateful and receive every cup that the Father hands to you.

Stop coddling your SELF.
