Beautiful reminder in a room full of men seeking God this morning. 2 Cor. 3:18 "But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory—just as from the Lord, who is the Spirit." It is by beholding God, His love, His character, His faithfulness that we are transformed. It is not our striving in our own strength that gets us there, it is our focus on Him.
The new thought comes from a teaching on Aleph Beta, Adam and Noah were commanded to be "fruitful and multiply", Abraham was promised he would be "fruitful and multiply". So grateful to be in the lineage of the man of promise not of command.
