The apostles and most of the early church were very aware of the overwhelming task in front of them. The strongest, most powerful people in the world were against them and the mission they were trying to accomplish. We are pushed to the end of our strength, we are up against things stronger than us. People we love are being trapped, lied to and crushed. We turn to prayer, we turn to Him. He is there, He is love. This world is truly not our home, right? There is hope but it is not here, but it is real. We are called to speak the truth and to love. The power and the grace to do these things comes from Him. We receive freely, we give freely. Onward.
