Psalm 91 Isn't True

 And neither is most of the rest of the Bible if you look at it from a perspective limited to this evil age.

There is a very real spiritual world, there is a coming age after this evil age where the god of this world and his minions are thrown down, and Yeshua reigns from Mt. Zion in Jerusalem, but that time is not now, is it?

Maranatha is the heart cry of a follower of the Jewish Messiah because this evil age wears us down and crushes us as much as it possibly can.

There is a portion of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens where Tiny Tim's brother is reading Psalm 91 and it speaks of 

91:5  "You will not fear the terror of night,

    nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
    nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
    ten thousand at your right hand,
    but it will not come near you."

and over in the corner sits Tiny Tim's chair, empty, meaning that this is a scene in the possible future after Tiny Tim has died and here they are reading a scripture that seems to promise the righteous will never have to endure such things as a young child dying of disease.

It is no accident that satan is seen quoting scripture accurately one time in the Bible when he is tempting Yeshua, he uses a portion of Psalm 91.  

91:11"For He will give His angels charge over you,
to guard you in all your ways.
12 12Upon their hands they will lift you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone."

Anyone who preaches the pre-trib lie could use this scripture too, if it was all by itself and not part of a book.

Yeshua responds to satan, Matthew 4:7 "Yeshua said to him, “Again it is written, ‘You shall not put Adonai your God to the test."

Satan was tempting Yeshua to throw Himself down from the temple and in the sight of all the people, His not being injured would prove, He was the son of God. Because satan was trying to get Him to bite on the "IF" part of "If You are the son of God..."

But we have a deeper problem with Psalm 91, not everyone is rescued and protected and satisfied with long life in this world.  Psalm 91 isn't true if you limit it to this world, this evil age.

The presence of God is promised to us, the Life of God which is eternal is promised to us, He takes upon Himself the name Redeemer, which means our situations will always eventually be rescued and protected.  NONE of these "promises" apply to this evil age, Tiny Tim may die, kids die of cancer every day, it sucks, this evil age sucks, we cannot, we must not get too comfortable here.  We cannot we must not expect to have every prayer answered here.

Our hearts cry Maranatha because this evil age is not our home!

Psalm 91 is 100% true when the Most High God is factored into the equation!

This young woman and the interviewer do a very grace filled way of exposing evil.

One point stood out to me young woman stated that her family publicly identified as Jewish people but privately they worshiped Baal. So here they are, worshiping a false God, power-hungry, money hungry, doing a lot of people dirty and behind the scenes running things, running media, running entertainment running things but here’s the point Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson are missing privately they worshiped Baal and they do far more horrible things than Candace or Tucker are accusing them of.  But the true Jew is still still the chosen people the sons of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. His plan is still to bless the world through them but it will be during the millennial reign after a horrific time of Jacob’s trouble which we call the great tribulation  but the Bible specifically calls Jacob’s trouble. The miracle this time around will be gentiles standing up for this persecuted, murdered, raped, people in those days. But gentiles will once again fail in this task if we follow the reformers, replacement theology, and the preterist doctrine. Those “Christians” who have no idea how God’s plans for Israel his chosen people fit in to their belief system. How many Christians are seeking to establish the kingdom of God on earth right now that’s wrong,  it’s heresy and it has lead to horrible crimes against humanity from the crusades, pogroms inquisitions and feeling justified in killing your enemies over doctrine.  (I am looking at you Calvin the great.)

The Gifts Are For Today and They Will BE 100% Essential for the Tribulation Time That Is Yet to Come (very soon)

 Peterism and Amillenialism, in whatever form that they come are heresies of the worst kind. The God of Israel who promised faithfulness to an ethnic people and a geographical land for a 1,000 generations is certainly not in the business of changing His mind.

To say that the gifts have somehow expired is to proclaim a lie and to exalt the written word above the Holy Spirit.

The pre-trib rapture is often taught alongside this cessationism and they do go hand in glove, but at least there are some who stay away from cessationism even while teaching the totally unbiblical pre-trib nonsense.

Messiah's community will be under severe persecution in the end times. They will need unusual discernment, as a gift of the Spirit. They will need prophecy to determine the proper direction. They will need supernatural hospitality, when it would be easier to just shut out the Jew and those fleeing the wrath of the anti-Christ.

Each of the gifts will be needed. There will be no more hiding people behind a book shelf, the technology that is out there at this time is scary in its accuracy and what it can reveal.  

We will be put in a place of 100% weakness where we rely 100% on the Spirit and the gifts of God. Maranatha!

The End of This Age is Approaching

 part of the proof of this is the rise in false teachers and false teaching. The pre-trib rapture teaching is a lie. The health and wealth prosperity gospel is a lie. The teaching that this is currently the reign of "Christ" and we are in the kingdom of God right now (preterism) is a lie and a ridiculous heresy. Replacement theology that teaches that Israel, Jerusalem and the ethnic Jewish people have been replaced by the "church" is a gross lie against the heart of the God who calls HIMSELF "the God of Israel" (Jehovah-Israel) around 60 times in the Bible. If we do not read and pray for understanding of the Book of Revelation and the God revealed in that book and Deuteronomy 32 and elsewhere we are going to be completely unprepared to help the Jew through the next Holocaust. Have you noticed our great leaders are led astray by "flattery" the Bible said they would be? Have you noticed a man from "Assyria" is rising up to a position of power from being a man in charge of only a few people? The Bible said that would happen. Have you noticed some nations are pretending to be friends of Israel until it becomes unpopular? the Bible said that would happen. Have you noticed the "west" is in a steep decline and could be easily decimated in the space of a couple days? The Bible said that too. Have you noticed the Middle East is the hub of all the news in the world and the world is divided based on those who will support Israel and those who won't? The Bible says that too? Wake up! Quit worshiping false gods who are only men and not even very good men at that.

Our Reaction to the Partial Hardening of Israel Reveals Either Arrogance or Humility

^"17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree, ¹⁸ do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you. ¹⁹ You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” ²⁰ Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear; ²¹ for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either. ²² Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off. ²³ And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. ²⁴ For if you were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these who are the natural branches be grafted into their own olive tree?
²⁵ For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;"  Romans 11:17-25 


Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit was deeply burdened for Israel.  His hope was that the gentiles who the Lord called him to, would understand and be humbled by the deep cost that Israel is and now has been paying for 2,000 years.  There is no room for arrogance, there is no room for a gentile to feel that in any way they have replaced or super seeded Israel.  The second we leave their root we are cut off.  Paul had the humility of God to see this mystery and to stand before it trusting in the wisdom of our great God.
On the other hand, Luther, had great expectations that his reformation would be welcomed and embraced by the Jews and when they did not turn and repent in the way he expected, he looked at Jewish writings and saw that they disparaged Jesus and he went off, way off!  He wrote a hate-filled book that in a very real sense opened the door for Nazi anti-Semitism. 
Oh God save us from ourselves!  Help us to look with humility at the terrifying cost of the partial hardening, and break us till we are crying out to you for them in priestly intercession!

The Single-eyed Purpose of God Almighty

We wrestle not against flesh and blood.  

We want to see all come to the knowledge of the mercy of God.  

Satan has infiltrated into the teaching and mind of so many followers of God.

Oh God we are poor and needy, restore the love of truth.  

Prepare the soil and plant the imperishable seed.

My simple question would be, "What is the purpose/goal of God in His dealings with man?"

The only true, ultimate answer is, "The glory of God."  We are on the potter's wheel to be transformed 

into the image of Yeshua.  

This one question destroys, pre-trib, preterism, and prosperity (the 3 horrible p's) all in one cut.

Faithful, sacrificial love demands that I be "post-trib".

The call comes to a prophet of the Most High God,  "

"Adonai’s opening words in speaking to Hoshea were to instruct Hoshea, “Go, marry a whore, and have children with this whore; for the land is engaged in flagrant whoring, whoring away from Adonai.”CJB

The word "whore" sounds very harsh and painful to our ears and we search for a "softer" word, because ultimately we are "Gomer" and we are going to have to "own" this title for ourselves.

We stumble over this stumbling stone because there is a teensy, weensy, bit of horribly ugly pride in us that says, in a teensy, weensy way I am just slightly better than the chosen people.  So, when "their deserved punishment" comes from God, I will be safely away, escaping to a "marriage supper".  See how ugly pride is when it is exposed to light!  

If this were to occur it would be a scene out of a horror movie, the groom looking aghast at the bride coming down the aisle, the severed and bleeding bottom half of a human woman with no torso from the waist up, organs and blood sticking out, because pride has blinded love and somehow the bottom half of the body is okay with the top half being cut off and tortured while "off we go" to the wedding!

Pride is a horror story.

So instead we join with our faithful and true Hosea, His heart of self-sacrificing love, becomes our heart, and we "love not our lives unto the death".  We see a Father, who chooses to remain Faithful and True even at the cost of His own life.  We join with Rich Mullins insightful lyrics, "The whores all seem to love Him and the drunks propose a toast..."

The only problem with this post is I will be totally and completely unable to convey the height, the width the depth and the breadth of His Faithful Love!  I was brought to slobbering tears this morning, as I even contemplated attempting to put words to such an impossibly, lofty reality!  An old saint has said, "I cannot reach the stars, but I can point to them."

One last thing to see is the connection God has made between the land and the people.  There is a reason why thousands of years later, Jerusalem, "the City of the Great King"(Psalm 48:2) is at the center of controversy.  God has chosen a people and secured for them a land.  One spot on earth has been chosen for His visible throne to be placed, and so the Usurper, has had his sights set on that piece of property ever since he found out the plan.  If you live with an awareness of these truths, lots of things that do not make any sense to the natural mind, become much more clear.

So the reality of the God who is faithful and true, the reality of sacrificial love, the reality that no human is any better than any other human,  is the reason a post-tribulation resurrection and "rapture" is the only view I can support.  May God continue to raise up a people who are broken by His love, united by His love, empowered by His love to manifest and demonstrate that He is alive and well, and working from a place of rest to restore, heal and forgive.

The consolation of Israel

Simeon and Anna were waiting for, praying for, hoping for the consolation of Israel.  JESUS, Yeshua.

How positively amazing is it that RELIGIOUS MAN has chosen to twist the whole thing upside-down and to use replacement theology, preterism, and pre-trib to push Israel to the side

If your theology does not fit into Romans 8-11 it is not the whole truth.  Period.
